Student Success and Study Hall – will the following students please see Mr. O’Connor in the Study Hall immediately after morning announcements; Paige Barr, Brayden Dellaire, Gemma Gerritse, Macey Hanniman, Aaron Lafont, Josh Smaggus, and Connor Zohr.

Reminder to any senior girl interested in playing soccer this season, there will be another conditioning session in the weight room after school today.T

Choir practice is cancelled today.

Attention Ms LaPlante’s grade 10 media class, if you have not already done so immediately following announcements you need to come drop off your cell phones for you CPF experiment day today.

Games games games!!

The 24 Hour Fast in support of Renfrew Hospice begins on Thursday after lunch.  Please bring signed permission forms, pledge sheets and pledges to the Chaplaincy Office today.

Junior Girls Soccer – There will be a short meeting today at lunch in room 113 for anyone interested in trying out for soccer.  

Track and Field Announcement: The Track and Field sign up is now posted outside of the gym.

Please be sure to sign up this week as training will commence next week. A list of events is also posted as a reference. Please see Mr. Mulvihill if you have any questions or concerns.

After announcements a reminder to all staff to invite your students to complete the staff polls Google forms for the yearbook page. Link was provided to you through email.

Yearbook team meets after school tomorrow for an hour in room 221. All need to attend please!

Badminton players – please check the board outside the gym for upcoming practice times.

Would members who were on the grade 8 girls and boys volleyball teams, and grade 8 flag football team as well as the coaches please meet in the gym at the start of lunch today to get team photos taken for the yearbook. It will only take a couple minutes.

Choir meets tomorrow at lunch in the music room.

Are you a Grade 12 student writing the DELF exam in April?  Come to room 216 to see Madame Schneider for a practical workshop today at lunch!

MONTREAL TRIP!  There are still a few spots available. Please come see Madame Schneider or Ms. Enright today at lunch!

The results are in. If you wrote the Pascal, Cayley or Fermat math contest, please come and see Mrs Richards today at lunch for your results. Last call for any students interested in writing the Fryer, Galois, or Hypatia math contest. You need to register with Mrs Richards ASAP.

Check out the bulletin outside of room 307 for your chance to have some fun with math and win a Tim’s card. Our next draw will be Friday morning. Please submit your answers to Mrs Richards or Mrs Skebo.

There will be a Senior Girls Soccer conditioning session in the weight room immediately beginning at 2:45 this afternoon.

Friday, January 25, 2019 DAY 2

All students who wish to receive accommodations for their exam according to their IEP please come to room 113 to sign up. Today is the last day to do so.

The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Competition will be held on Monday, January 28th at 7pm in the St. Joseph’s gym. This year participants can be up to age 17. Registration forms can be picked up at the office. Any student who is looking for community service hours can see Mr. McMahon about obtaining hours.

Don’t forget, pizza will be sold in the town square today at lunch.  Come down and support your Jaguars and celebrate the last day of Semester 1!

Student Success – during exam week, the study hall will relocate to the Student Lounge.  Therefore, students that still need to complete and submit term work, missing tests, or culminating activities will be required to report to the Student Lounge after finishing their exams in order to meet these course expectations.
