The Junior Boys Basketball team traveled to Petawawa to play the first place team in the league. The boys came out strong playing a clean offense and a smart defence to get points on the board. They moved the ball incredibly well to set up for scoring opportunities. Marcus’ rebounding, Dan’s ability to shut down their leading scorer and Sam Dunn’s ability to capitalize on the team’s ball movement lead them to a 30 point victory. The team will be playing in a tournament this weekend where they hope to continue the success from last night.

It was also a good day for the Sr. Boys bball team in Petawawa Thursday.  With the game tied up at 14, the press took over. Valour could not handle our pressure and there plenty of steals and baskets for all.  Liam Retty had 21, Mark Troutman had 17, Tyler Blackburn had 6 assists, AJ Hart got his second 3 of the year, Colton Charbonneau played shut down D on their top man.  It ended with a 73-24 victory. Practice Monday after school, and make sure you are available for the Wednesday game against Fellowes.

Just a reminder to the girls varsity hockey team that there will be a meeting at lunch in room 307!
