The Grade 8 soccer tournament was held yesterday at Mat-e-way. The team finished first in their pool thanks to a couple goals from Jake MacLeod and Hatti Wisotzki. The team didn’t  didn’t have any goals against them all day during regular play because of solid defence from Audrey Fisher and Grady Halk, and strong goaltending. Owen Pender, Tal Stevenson and Brandon Cameron moved the ball incredibly well around the midfield setting up some great scoring opportunities. Unfortunately, the semi-final match went to a  shootout and the Jags did not come out on top. A great team effort from everyone.
